Capt. Todd Geroy
Since receiving his Captains license in 1981 at the age of 18, Capt. Todd has enjoyed a long, prosperous career guiding full time on the shallow waters of SW Florida. He has shared his passion with many thousands of clients over the years and has built a reputation as one of the most sought and respected inshore guides in the area. His name is synonymous with light tackle fishing in Naples. He has developed lasting relationships with a long list of regular clients and in many cases is now fishing with the third generation of some of his original anglers.
Todd has been featured in numerous regional and national publications such as Saltwater Sportsman, Florida Sportsman, Sportfishing, Gulf Shore Life and Coastal Living. Capt. Todd and his teams are no strangers to the awards podium at fishing tournaments with numerous wins and top finishes. This includes the 2011 Division Champions as well as two time Grand Slam Champions along with many other top finishes in the prestigious Redsnook tournament. Capt. Todd’s teams have also taken first place and several top three finishes in the long running Caloosa Catch and Release Series.

Todd is a graduate of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Leadership Collier class of 2006. He has also completed an extensive course in CPR, first aid and emergency rescue techniques and received certification by the East Naples Fire and Rescue Dept.
Capt. Ben Geroy
A graduate of the University of North Florida, Capt. Ben Geroy has been drawn back to his roots and the endless inshore waterways of Southwest Florida. Driven by a passion for the outdoors, Ben loves to share his knowledge of fishing both in fresh and saltwater and is a great asset to the naplesfishing.com team.
Though he is one of the younger captains fishing full time on local waters, Capt. Ben is no stranger to the backwater fishing scene of southwest Florida. As a Naples native, not only has he been catching fish since he was able to hold a fishing rod, he has been exploring the backwaters years before he could even drive a car. With over 13 years of fishing and boating experience of his own, combined with the 30+ years of knowledge and advice of from his mentor and father Capt. Todd Geroy, Ben is well-equipped with an edge over the competition.
Capt. Ben’s youth brings out his eagerness and excitement onto the water, making fishing trips enjoyable for his anglers. He is courteous, patient and a great teacher, making him a great choice of guide for a wide array of anglers from beginner to expert. He has proven his skills on all tackle in both fresh and salt water whether using spin, bait casting or fly tackle while accomplishing great catch catches over the years with both artificial and live bait.
With fishing being a central part of Capt. Ben’s life, not only does he find himself on the water when he is not working, he also has his hands in many other facets of the fishing world. Over the past few years, Ben has become an accomplished custom fishing rod builder, building fully customized fishing rods as well as keeping busy doing all sorts of repairs and restoring older worn fishing rods. Ben’s custom rods are not only durable and functional, but they are also keepsakes, as each rod is an individualized piece of art that can be designed to meet the unique look and application that the customer desires.
